Hoodlums enforcing the sit-at-home order in the early hours of Monday April 11, attacked a park where inter-state transport vehicles were loading, killing two persons.

It was gathered that the hoodlums shot consistently as they dispersed passengers, burning a Sienna bus.

Some passengers and drivers also sustained gunshot injuries.

The driver of the burnt Sienna who escaped being killed, narrated how the hoodlums stormed the park while he was still waiting for passengers to fill the vehicle.

According to the driver who is used to loading very early every Monday to beat the sit-at-home, he was standing a distance away from his vehicle when the gunmen arrived in a mini bus.

The man, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said he felt they were armed robbers and continued to move away from the vicinity as fast as he could.

“By the time I looked back to see what was happening my Sienna was up in flames.

“I learned about two persons were reported to have been shot dead during the attack which lasted fee minutes”, the man said.

It was learnt that one of the victims was a passenger.
