Two anonymous officials of the Kano state branch of Rice Farmers Association of Nigeria are to face prosecution by the Kano state Public Complaints, and Anti-Corruption Commission.

The two officials who were earlier arrested over alleged N10bn fraud under the Anchors Borrower’s Loan Scheme failed to appear after they were released on bail on Thursday.

It was alleged that the Chairman of the Kano state branch of Rice Farmers Association of Nigeria, Abubakar Haruna, alongside the Deputy Secretary, Ado Yakasai, refused the decision to charge the two accused following their released on bail on Thursday.
