Two girls of the Government Secondary School, Bukuru, Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State have been honored for their

The girls, identified as Naima Hussaini and Righteousness Samuel Genesis, who are said to be JSS 3 students were honored for returning a lot sum of two hundred and fifty thousand nairas (N250,000) and returning it to its owner.

According to the report, they found the money within the school premises and took it to their teacher, Mr. Ezekiel Yerima.

Speaking to KT103.9fm Jos on Monday, July 18, 2022, the students said they decided to return the money because of the teachings of their different faiths and home training, which forbids them from keeping what doesn’t belong to them, adding that not returning the money may even cause a problem for the owner.

The students called the government to assist them in their education. Naima said she wants to be a medical doctor while Righteous wants to study architecture.
