Tyson Fury, the WBC and Lineal World Heavyweight Champion, believes he will defeat fellow British boxer Dillian Whyte before the sixth round.

Whyte was absent from yesterday’s press conference for the April 23rd showdown at Wembley Stadium, prompting Tyson Fury to accuse him of “flagging.”

Whyte’s absence was also described as “disgraceful and unprofessional” by Frank Warren, Tyson Fury’s co-promoter.

“People will talk about how I smashed him to pieces in front of the home fans in the UK in a few years.” “An all-British showdown for the WBC Heavyweight World Champion, fantastic event, and I know Dillian Whyte is going to come in,” Fury said.

“An all-British fight for the WBC Heavyweight World Championship is a fantastic event, and I know Dillian Whyte will come in prepared, rough, rugged, and aggressive.”

In this fight, I believe both fighters will go for the knockout. I just think it’ll be over when he lands one Lancaster Bomber on his jaw. That could happen in either round one or round six. I don’t see it going any further.”

Although the self-styled ‘Gypsy King’ is expected to face the winner of Anthony Joshua’s rematch with Oleksandr Usyk, who holds the WBA, IBF, and WBO belts, in a unification bout if he defeats Whyte, he has hinted that this may be his final fight.
