Former Aston Villa captain, Gabriel Agbonlahor has told Manchester United’s fans to make an apology to Cristiano Ronaldo.

The 35-year-old held that Ronaldo is not the Red Devils’ problem as claimed.

Agbonlahor added that the Portuguese captain was the team’s rescuer and ought to be highly regarded.

Eni Aluko, a former Chelsea player had thought the same when she branded Manchester United as ‘one man band’ team to the insinuation it’s Ronaldo who always saved them.

He added: “He’s the one saving them, he’s not the problem, he’s the one getting the results, keeping them in the Champions League, keeping them in the race for the top four.”
