The immediate past Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Udom Emmanuel, has appealed to Nigerians to bury their differences and give full support to President Bola Tinubu as the country navigates through its current economic and social challenges.
Speaking during an interactive session with journalists at the United Evangelical Church, Surulere, Lagos, Emmanuel said this is not the moment for the nation to be torn apart by politics, ethnicity or religion.

He stressed that unity remains the most important tool for solving the deep-rooted problems affecting the country.
“This is not the time to dwell on factors that create divisions,” he said. “Rather, as a people, we must pull together to confront our common enemies by giving every necessary support to Tinubu.”

Emmanuel noted that Nigerians must work together to prevent the country from slipping into a deeper crisis. According to him, national unity is more urgent than ever.
He urged the President to remain focused and continue pushing forward with reforms aimed at stabilising the nation and improving governance.
“We must support the President to solve the challenges that are militating against the progressive movement upon which he has set our nation,” he said.
Emmanuel encouraged President Tinubu to stay on track with his development vision and policies that can lead the country toward progress, good governance and national growth.
