A former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani, has said the court ruling which sacked Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State would also affect other serving governors who defected.

DAILY REPORT NG had reported that Justice Inyang Ekwo of an Abuja Federal High Court had sacked Umahi as governor of Ebonyi State and his Deputy, Dr. Kelechi Igwe from office.

Umahi and his Deputy were sacked over their defection from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Reacting, Sani, in a tweet, wrote: “The Court sacking of Ebonyi Governor will affect other serving Governors that defected.”
