Undergraduate Who Created Solar Powered Cooker Gets $10,000 Grant | Daily Report Nigeria

A young undergraduate who created a solar-powered cooker has won a $10,000(N4 million) start-up grant.

The young Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, identified as Usman Dalhatu, who had previously been recognized by the federal government in the past for his invention of an automatic ventilator, got accepted into All On and The Rockefeller Foundation funded Nigeria Climate Innovation Center’s 2021 off-grid energy incubation program.

According to the CEO of All On, Weibe Boer, the funds given to Usman will be used to increase the production of his invention for kiosk owners in Kaduna, Kano, FCT, and Abuja.
