A final-year student of the University of Benin (UNIBEN), Maria Precious Tunde has reportedly died in her sleep.
She was said to have died on Sunday, April 30, 2023, at her off-campus hostel, located at Ekosodin Village.
Reports held that the deceased was hale and hearty before going to bed on Saturday night, April 29, 2023.

It was gathered that all efforts to resuscitate her were unsuccessful, and her parents were subsequently called on.
Before her death, late Tunde was a final-year student in the Faculty of Education, Ugbowo campus of the institution.
