  • The Ogun state police force have confirmed the freedom of a young abducted girl in the state.

  • Daily Report Nigeria recalls the girl was allegedly abducted from her mother shop by her regular customer.

A 7-year-old girl, identified as Mercy Akande has regained freedom, after allegedly being abducted in Ogun state.

Recall that the story came into limelight more after an X user, who claims to be the victim’s aunt took to the social media platform to cry for help.

The X user noted that the girl was abducted from her mother shop, a Point Of Sale terminal, POS, in the Sango Ota area of Ogun State on Monday, December 23.

It was gathered that the customer had sent the girl on an errand to buy a sachet of pure water, and then went to meet her on the way to collect it. The distracted mother who saw them briefly, before being distracted again by customers.

Sharing the good news of its X handle, the Ogun state police command also noted that all suspects involved in theabduction of the little girl have been arrested.
