The remains of Deborah Samuel, a student who was murdered by her colleagues has been laid to rest.
Deborah, a 200-level student of the Shehu Shagari College of Education, Sokoto state was stoned and hacked to death over allegations that she made a comment on a WhatsApp group which blaspheme Prophet Muhammad (SAW)
Her remains were laid to rest in her hometown, Tungan Magajiya in Rijau Local Government Area of Niger State.

Also, the muslim youths in Sokoto state staged a protest on Saturday, M ay 14, where they asked the law enforcement agencies to release the suspects arrested in relation to Deborah’s Death.
