Kai Cenat, a popular content creator from the US, has reportedly made a generous donation of $3,000 to a school project in Makoko, Lagos, a densely populated waterfront slum known for its unique stilted and floating structures situated along the Lagos Lagoon.
This charitable act came after Cenat’s first visit to Nigeria, a trip reportedly facilitated by Shank, a Nigerian skit maker. Together, they spent three days exploring the Makoko area of Lagos.
In a video shared on Cenat’s YouTube channel, viewers witnessed Shank guiding the content creator through the community. During their visit, they not only immersed themselves in Nigerian culture by sampling local delicacies like Amala but also interacted with children at a school within the community.

During a car ride to another location, Shank expressed disbelief that Kai Cenat had donated $3,000 to a random person. However, Cenat clarified that the donation was intended for a school project and inquired whether the amount was sufficient to make a significant impact.
With this generous gesture, Cenat demonstrated his commitment to supporting education and community development initiatives, leaving a positive mark on the Makoko community during his visit to Nigeria.
