The footage captured Omah Lay dancing with the woman on stage, leaving her boyfriend visibly distraught in the audience. Following the event, the dejected man was seen walking home alone as onlookers mocked him.
Taking to her social media platform, Veeiye voiced her condemnation of the incident, labeling it as embarrassing for all parties involved. She criticized both Omah Lay’s actions and the behavior of the woman, denouncing the lack of respect shown towards the man in the situation.
She tweeted, “If they truly are in a relationship, the only mistake that guy made was not leaving the venue as soon as she got on stage. I hate embarrassment so much. It’s not even funny. It triggers something inside me.”
