In a video posted on his official Facebook page, a visibly heartbroken VeryDarkMan broke down in tears as he spoke about the worsening state of insecurity in the region. He described the situation as devastating for young Nigerians, particularly entrepreneurs who are trying to succeed despite economic and social challenges.
“The kidnapping and killings in Anambra State is too much. What is the hope of the entrepreneurs, what is the hope of those going into business in Nigeria?” he lamented.
VeryDarkMan also disclosed plans to visit Anambra State to pay tribute to the late businessman and raise awareness about the alarming rate of kidnappings in the area.
“I will be coming to Anambra State maybe on the 4th then maybe we can do a candle light when it will not clash with the sit-at-home in the state,” he said.
He further explained that he intends to walk through the local fish market and use the opportunity to engage with the community on the issue of rising insecurity.
“Well will do walking in the fish market and do some awareness on the kidnappings going on in Anambra State,” he added.
The activist’s emotional outburst has sparked renewed conversations online about safety in the Southeast and the need for urgent action from authorities.
