Insists no Dangote trucks should operate until compensation is paid
Human rights activist, Verydarkman, has visited victims of the recent Dangote truck accident in Auchi, Edo State, where several people sustained serious injuries.
The incident has renewed public concern over the safety of heavy-duty trucks belonging to Africa’s largest conglomerate.
During his hospital visit, Verydarkman commiserated with the injured and their families, stressing that mere words of sympathy are not enough without concrete action from Dangote Industries.
He urged billionaire businessman Aliko Dangote to take full responsibility for the tragedy by compensating victims, covering their medical expenses, and putting in place stricter safety regulations for drivers to prevent further accidents.

“The lives and welfare of the victims must come first. Dangote trucks will not be allowed to operate until victims are fully supported and justice is served,” he declared.
The activist also demanded that the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and other regulatory agencies step up enforcement on haulage companies whose vehicles have been linked to recurring road accidents.
