Veteran Actor and Musician Martin Mull Passes Away at 80

Veteran American comic actor and musician Martin Mull has passed away at the age of 80. He died at his home in Los Angeles on Thursday after battling a long illness, confirmed by his wife, Wendy Mull, on Friday.

No specific cause of death was disclosed.

His daughter, TV writer and comic artist Maggie Mull, also confirmed his death, expressing deep sadness in an Instagram post. She highlighted that Martin Mull would be profoundly missed by his family, friends, colleagues, fellow artists, comedians, musicians, and notably, many dogs.

Martin Mull gained prominence in the 1970s through his roles in shows like ‘Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman’ and ‘Fernwood 2-Night,’ and continued to be active in television and film throughout his career.

Melissa Joan Hart, his co-star from ‘Sabrina the Teenage Witch,’ paid tribute to him on Instagram, describing him as “a wonderful man who I am better for knowing.”
