Victony Reveals How ‘Soweto’ Transformed His Career

Nigerian singer Victony, whose real name is Anthony Ebuka Victor, credits his hit song “Soweto” with transforming his career.

In a recent interview with Sound City, He explained that the global success of the track significantly changed his life.

“‘Soweto’ changed my life,” he said. “It allowed me to travel to places I never thought I’d reach so quickly.” The song gained traction in late 2022, and to build on its success in 2023, Victony enlisted Don Toliver and Rema for a remix, noting that their styles complement the original track.

The artiste also mentioned that he is now an independent artist.
