Victor Boniface has expressed that Super Eagles supporters will always criticize the team, regardless of who manages them.
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has faced criticism for not appointing a permanent head coach since Finidi George left in June, with ongoing debates about whether a local or expatriate coach should take charge.
Victor Boniface, however, emphasized that he has no preference between a local or foreign coach, stating, “Even if we bring in Guardiola, Nigerians will still have something to say. I’m the type of person who doesn’t care about what people think because they’re not here with the team.”
