Napoli has agreed to loan their star striker, Victor Osimhen, to Galatasaray, just days after his proposed move to Chelsea fell through.
The Nigerian international was on the verge of a loan deal to Stamford Bridge, with Chelsea set to include an obligation to buy. However, the deal collapsed, and Osimhen may now sign with Galatasaray tonight under a dry loan arrangement, which means there is no option to buy.
Napoli’s sporting director, Giovanni Manna, confirmed, “We are close to an agreement.”

The news, first reported by Corriere dello Sport on Monday afternoon, has quickly progressed toward completion. Reports from Sky Sport Italia and RMC Sport suggest that Napoli has agreed to the loan, provided Galatasaray covers Osimhen’s full salary of nearly €11 million per season.
Alternatively, Galatasaray could pay a loan fee and share the wages with Napoli.
Representatives from Galatasaray are currently flying into Naples to finalize the negotiations and complete the paperwork. Manna also confirmed to Sports Digitale in Turkey, “It is correct to say we are in talks with Galatasaray and we are close to an agreement.”
Victor Osimhen is reportedly eager to join Galatasaray, especially since he would otherwise be sidelined until the transfer window reopens in January.
Napoli had made it clear that Victor Osimhen would not be reintegrated into the squad after he expressed his desire to leave the club months ago.
