Chelsea’s bid to sign Victor Osimhen from Napoli has hit a snag, as the player is reportedly not interested in moving to the Premier League club.

Osimhen is expected to leave Napoli this summer, and discussions had been underway between the Italian club and Chelsea about a potential swap deal involving Romelu Lukaku.

According to The Athletic, the proposed deal would have seen Osimhen join Chelsea on loan with an option to buy, while Lukaku would move permanently to rejoin Antonio Conte.

However, Corriere dello Sport now reports that Osimhen is “not excited” about the idea of joining Chelsea, making the deal less likely.

Meanwhile, Conte has yet to include Victor Osimhen in any pre-season matches.
