Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has reportedly reached an agreement on a €350,000-a-week contract with Chelsea. This news comes from UEFA-accredited sports journalist Oma Akatugba, who shared that Osimhen initially requested €500,000 a week to make the move.
However, Akatugba noted that the deal is not finalized, as Saudi Arabian clubs are also interested in Osimhen and are offering even more money. In a post on X on Thursday, Akatugba wrote,
“The Victor Osimhen transfer saga seems to be leaning toward a move to Chelsea. According to my sources—not Victor or anyone from his camp—as of 11 p.m. last night, he agreed to a weekly wage of €350,000 with Chelsea. Initially, he sought €500,000 per week, but Chelsea persuaded him to accept the lower figure.”
