Last season, Osimhen tore through defenses in Istanbul.
He scored 37 goals and delivered eight assists in 41 games, powering Galatasaray to both the Süper Lig and Turkish Cup.
Now, Galatasaray have sent a letter of credit to guarantee full payment to Napoli.
Negotiations centre on payment terms. Napoli demand roughly €50 million up front and the remaining €25 million by the end of 2026.
However, they may accept a smaller initial sum if Galatasaray clears the full amount within a year.
Both clubs edge closer to a deal, but “bureaucratic processes” could delay the paperwork by a few days.
After last summer’s deadline-day collapse, the 26-year-old striker wants a permanent switch to Istanbul.
His hunger to leave Naples grew with Galatasaray’s success and even drove one fan to threaten Napoli’s vice president.
With both sides nearing terms and Victor Osimhen pushing hard, expect the final signatures soon.
