Reality TV star and actress Victoria Iye, known as Vee, expressed her frustration with the worsening economic conditions and rising social tension in Nigeria.
She shared her concerns on X (formerly Twitter), pointing out the ongoing fuel shortage, the depreciating value of the Naira, popular transvestite Bobrisky’s imprisonment, escalating feuds among Afrobeats artists, overall hardship, and a general sense of irresponsibility among the youth.
Her post read, “It’s hot, there’s no fuel, there’s no light, the naira is in a laughable state, Afrobeats World War III, Bobrisky is in prison, only God knows what’s happening at Landmark, and the streets are filled with unserious, wicked married people. Nigeria, please.”

Nigeria is grappling with a fuel crisis despite an increase in petrol prices. Meanwhile, crossdresser Bobrisky was recently jailed for defacing the Naira. The Afrobeats scene is also in turmoil, with a public spat between Wizkid and Davido, and another between Tekno and Kizz Daniel.
