China has successfully launched the world’s first 6G test satellite into orbit, making it the first country to do so.

The satellite was launched into orbit alongside 12 other satellites from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in Shanxi Province.

The Sixth Generation communication will have high-speed technology as one of its component and will be tested.

The satellite also carries technology that will be used to track crop disasters and avoid forest fires.

6G is expected to be 100 times faster than 5G, which is still in testing mode in some countries and has never been tried in others.
