A video showing operatives of the Nigerian Army slapping their counterparts from the Nigerian Police Force has surfaced online to the shock of many on social media.

According to eyewitnesses, trouble started when two police officers tried to harass an innocent young man in the Ikorodu Garage area of Lagos.

However, the crowd drew the attention of the soldiers who were driving past the area at the time.

They interrogated the policemen and when no tangible answers were forthcoming from the officers, they resulted to slapping the duo.

The situation seem to have escalated quickly as the soldiers were seen beating up the police officers in the video.
