Hoodlums suspected to be Fulani herdsmen on Sunday invaded the St. Francis Catholic Church in Owo, Owo local government area of Ondo State.
Daily Report Nigeria gathered that the hoodlums attacked the church in their numbers, while mass was ongoing.
The attack left a yet to be confirmed worshippers of the church dead, while several others received varying degree of injuries.

A video from the incident seen by our correspondent show the lifeless bodies of the slain worshippers, while others wailed in grieve.
The incident, which was first reported to be an explosion, is the latest of attacks by marauding herdsmen.
The victims of the attack include children, women and men.
Owo is the hometown of the Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi.
The church and the Ondo State Police Command were yet to comment on the incident as of press time.
