Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have fired a tear gas canister at #ENDSARSMemorial protesters at the Lekki tollgate, Lagos state.
Daily Report Nigeria earlier reported the ongoing memorial car procession at the Lekki Tollgate to mark the one year anniversary of slain youths during the 2020 #ENDSARS protests.
Youths, cutting across celebrities were all involved in the memorial procession in the midst of armed security operatives before they were dispersed.

The procession that started as early as 8am rapidly increased as youths thronged the protest venue in their numbers.
The police had earlier arrested two alleged protesters, before the dispersion.
However, Hakeem Odumosu, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, said the police did not disperse the youths undertaking in the procession, but miscreants at the venue.
