A group of police officers have received series of backlash from Nigerians after a video showcased them assaulting some PHCN officials.
In a video making rounds online, a team of police officers can be seen assaulting officials of the Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company (PHED) for disconnecting their boss’s power supply.
The incident reportedly happened at a bakery in Calabar, Cross River State on Thursday 16th of June, 2022.
According to reports, the PHED officials disconnected the power due to owner’s failure to pay his electricity bill.

Unfortunately, they, got more than they bargained for, when the officers attached to the bakery’s owner, who’s said to be a politician, pounced on them.
