Vincent Kompany Makes First Signing as Bayern Munich Manager: Hiroki Ito Joins for €30m

Vincent Kompany, Bayern Munich’s new manager, has made his first signing for the club.

According to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Japanese defender Hiroki Ito has officially joined Bayern Munich as Kompany’s first addition this summer transfer window.

Romano announced the news in a post on his X account on Thursday evening.

“Official: Bayern have completed a deal to sign Hiroki Itō as a new defender for €30m release clause. Contract signed for Japanese CB, first addition for Vincent Kompany,” Romano tweeted.

Kompany recently joined Bayern Munich after leaving Burnley, who were relegated from the Premier League.
