The Lagos State Police Command has arrested three individuals in connection with the tragic death of Dr. Vware Diaso at the General Hospital in Lagos.
The spokesperson for the command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, announced the arrest on Saturday.
Although the identities of the suspects have not been disclosed, the police said they have initiated an investigation into the matter.
According to reports, the incident occurred due to a malfunctioning elevator at the General Hospital in Odan, Lagos.

Diaso, who resided on the 9th floor of the building, tragically lost her life while attempting to meet a dispatch rider who had delivered her food order. The elevator had reportedly crashed from the 10th floor to the ground floor.
She was in the final stages of completing her mandatory one-year internship program at the hospital, having studied at Babcock University in Ilishan Remo, Ogun State.

The late doctor was immediately taken to the emergency ward for treatment, but unfortunately, did not survive.
Reports held that the elevator had experienced multiple malfunctions before the incident, yet the hospital management failed to address the issue adequately.
In response to this tragedy, Governor Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State pledged to conduct a thorough investigation to uncover the truth behind the doctor’s death.
Sanwo-Olu also extended his condolences to the victim’s family.
