The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially released the results for the 2025 Computer-based West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for private candidates.

The announcement was made on Saturday through a post on WAEC’s X handle, which stated, “The results of the Computer-based West African Senior School Certificate Examination for Private Candidates, 2025-First Series have been released.”

However, some students have expressed frustration over being unable to access their results.

One student, Ephrata, took to X to share her experience, stating, “I checked my results, but it says my card has already been used by another candidate. This is my first time using it, and I’m confused. I bought a scratch card, and the same issue occurred. Please, I need assistance to understand what went wrong and what steps to take next.”

WAEC Releases 2024 WASSCE Results for Private Candidates

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially released the results for the 2024 Second Series of the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for Private Candidates.

According to a statement by the Ag Head of Public Affairs, Moyosola Adesina, a total of 65,023 candidates sat for the examination, with 43,923 candidates (67.55%) scoring credit and above in a minimum of five subjects.
