WAHALA: Over 8000 Candidates Sue JAMB Over Low UTME Scores

Tension still grips the heart of many Nigerian students, as thousands sue the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB Over low scores.

Daily Report Nigeria recalls the 2025 JAMB results being released on Friday, May 9, 2025, and was met with mixed reactions amongst Nigerians.

Many Nigerians contested the results, as the body reveals that 75% of total students who wrote the exam scored below 200.

Over 8000 students sue jamb

In recent news, over eight thousand candidates have taken up the matter legally, as they sue JAMB.

According to an X user, with username, @winexviv, a total of 8,391 candidates signed the petition which would be presented in court to allow jamb provide the detailed sheet of the exam.

He wrote;

“Currently, we have 8,391 students who have sent in their complaints regarding the glitches in the JAMB 2025 exam,” @winexviv wrote. “There’s plenty of evidence that JAMB’s system was inefficient, causing serious harm to these students’ mental health.”

“The destinies of these students are at stake. Students, we won’t let our guards down!”

According to the boy’s sister, how posted the video on TikTok, her brother checked his results and suddenly developed anxiety attack and collapsed.
