A woman, from Harare, Zimbabwe, Shamiso Zuze has sued her boyfriend to court, as she demands payment for his alleged wrongdoings.
According to reports, the woman brought the case to the Harare Civil Court, as she demands $100 monthly from hee former partner for his alleged abuse and infidelity during their two-year relationship.
In her statement during the court proceedings, she added that Gonye had caused her physical and emotional pain, also claiming that he constantly brought other women into the home.
She said;
“He was in the habit of bringing different women to my house… he disrespected me, and I deserve compensation for the pain,” Zuze stated.

While defending himself, Gonye on the other hand denied all allegations, adding that his former girlfriend made unreasonable demands.
“She told me I am her only source of income,” he stated, adding that she refused to end the relationship due to the financial support he provided.
Delivering her judgement after hearing from both sides, the presiding judge, Magistrate Judith Taruvinga issued a reciprocal peace order, instructing both Zuze and Gonye to avoid further confrontations and maintain peace.
