The youth wing of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo has advised the Anambra State governor-elect Prof. Chukwuma Soludo to be watchful of moves by Andy Ubah and governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo state.

The group gave this advise in a statement by its President-General, Mazi Okwu Nnabuike.

According to the statement: “We are happy that against all odds the Anambra State governorship election has come and gone, successfully too.

“It is even more cheering that a man of the people, character and ideas, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo came out victorious from that exercise.

“But in view of past antecedents, we are asking the victorious party, APGA, not to take anything for granted, especially with the rejection of the result by the APC candidate, Senator Andy Uba. It should not also be forgotten that Gov. Hope Uzodinma was the leader of the party’s campaign council and we all know how he became governor from a 4th position.

“Soludo’s APGA should, therefore, not sleep with two eyes closed. They should be watchful of every step the APC and its candidate takes until every thing about this election is laid to rest.”

The youth group added: “We know they have the constitutional right to approach the tribunal if they feel aggrieved, but it is not necessary at all as Anambra election has been accepted by the majority, including other candidates to be credible.

“Andy Uba should consider the largest interest of Ndigbo by resisting the temptation of going to court,”
