We are not after your life and son – Mohbad’s Family assures Wife, Denies sending death threat

The family of Nigeria’s late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, professionally known as Mohbad, has denied sending death threats to his wife, Omowunmi.

The reaction followed the alarm raised by Omowunmi on Tuesday that Mohbad’s family was after her life.

Omowunmi said Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba, and his people have vowed to kill her and her son, Lima.

Reacting to the allegation through their law firm, Hillceetee Partners, Mohbad’s family denied it, asking Omowunmi to reveal the telephone numbers or identify those threatening her life.

In the statement signed by Monisola Odumosu, the Aloba family said: “Our attention has been drawn to a news item circulating in social media which alleged that the Aloba Family, and some bloggers: Bukky Jesse, Yeye Kudi Courtroom and Adeshina Kasbir Hayat (from now on called our Clients), are after the life of the widow of late Ilerioluwa promise Aloba also known as Mohbad).

“Due to the sensitive nature of the allegation and the ongoing investigation to unravel the unusual death of the late Mohbad, we deem it necessary to respond to Mrs. Wunmi Aloba’s allegations.
