We Have Not Suspended our Convention – APC

APC State congresses
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has asked Nigerians to disregard media reports claiming the ruling party has suspended its national convention slated for February.

Sen. John Akpanudoedehe, the National Secretary of APC Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC), made this known in a statement issued on Wednesday.

Akpanudoedehe said priority of the party was to address the fallout of recently conducted congresses and litigations against the party.

He noted that the faceless authors and sponsors of fake news on the ruling party activities, especially the planned National Convention are simply bent on causing confusion and fomenting crisis through misinformation.
