Taking to her Twitter page, the young lady said:

PLEASE MY SIBLINGS, STAY AWAY FROM THAT “WEDNESDAY SERIES”. IT IS NOT FOR US, CLEARLY. I HAVE WATCHED IT ON BEHALF OF ALL OF US AND I CAN TELL YOU THAT THE SERIES IS DEMONIC. THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT PLAYING, THEY REALLY WANT TO TAKE FULL POSSESSION OF THE MEDIA.”

However, Netflix described the movie as “a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery that involves investigations of mysteries.”

Some Netizens reacted to her post. See below:

But I have a friend that’s this spiritual but watches it. I mean, speaking in tongues divine spirit walks and all that. Is your spirit different ni?”

Yes, you’re right, my sister. I remember when I watched Sesame street as a child and the cookie monster turned my Christian soul into an atheist and I now worship the devil. Please just stay in your room and pray so this doesn’t happen to you. Spread the word.”

Seeee, there’s one popular one that I don’t want to get dragged for. But when I got to episode 2, I couldn’t continue.
It was too somehow for someone asking to know God more😩”

Omo , because it’s popular doesn’t mean we should watch it. This Wednesday series kept draining me as I watched it but I was still watching it. At some point I had to ask myself, what have you gained since you started watching it, nothing. No laughter, no lesson , just darkness.”
