The Acting Chairman of the Delta Ijaw Comrade Community, Comrade Welemu Williams has congratulated the quartet of Chief Keston Pondi, Chief Godspower Tomone, Chief Francis Boumiebi and Chief Francis Satu on their confermemt of chieftancy titles by HRM, Elder Joseph Timiyan, the Ebenanaowei of Ogulagha Kingdom.

The newly conferred chiefs were registered into the echeolen of traditional authority in Ogulagha kingdom during the fifteenth coronation anniversary of Agbonu, the paramount ruler.

The occasion which took place on Thursday 12th, November was withnessed by a plethora of dignitaries within the Niger Delta and beyond.

Welemu in a congratulatory message sent to Daily Report Nigeria, expressed confidence and optimism on their enrollment as custodians of tradition in the oil-rich Ogulagha kingdom.

He prayed for God to endow all newly conferred chiefs with wisdom and protection to pilot the affairs of the kingdom.

Welemu wrote;
“I join the People of Ogulagha kingdom to celebrate the conferment of traditional titles on Chief Keston Pondi, Chief Godspower Tomone, Chief Francis Boumiebi and Chief Francis Satu as Dikeremowei, Amatelemowei , Ogungbenwei and Tunkepa of Ogulagha Kingdom respectively.

“While I am confident that you all will perform excellently to your traditional calling, it is my prayer that God increases you and all others assigned a traditional responsibility through chieftancy titles with wisdom and Gods Protection.
