President Muhammadu Buhari has reaffirmed the resolve of his administration to realise and achieve its plan to lift 100 million Nigerians out of poverty.
The President while making the reaffirmation on Tuesday, February 23, during a meeting with the Presidential Economic Advisory Council (PEAC) at the State House in Abuja, stated that it was conceived out of deliberate intents.
According to a statement by the President’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, the project wasn’t something just bumped into or accidentally but a deliberate one which would be pursued with remarkable determination and grit.

Speaking at the meeting which was also attended by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Buhari agreed with the council that the country requires a poverty reduction strategy that will usher in a sustained, rapid and inclusive economic growth.
