Some part of Luge Area in Abuja had been devastated by disastrous flooding on Sunday night thereby, leaving residents mourning.
The areas mostly affected include; ABC Ojiakor, Imo, Trademore square street and also the police station in the estate.
Emergency Management Agency, Abuja disclosed last Monday that the flooding afftectd 166 houses in addition to 26 vehicles swept away.

The victims’ s families left grieving folowing tremendous damage.
The horrendous disaster slew some lives, decimated some houses and buildings.
The agency said 4, some residents however, argued that the number of casualties could be more as some people were still found missing.
As such, the victims have been rendered homeless having lost all they laboured to a single flooding.
A victim, Mrs Uche said that the flood caught them unawares.

Another victims, Mr Opedu Charles and his family are among those who were sacked from their house.
However, cleaning of building had begun by those who were able to protect their property amid the ruining flood.
The Commissioner of Police in the area said:“The flood was much here. We lost many things. We were able to save some statements, files and other things. Nothing has happened to them. They are only wet.”
The CoP added that there was no one in the cell at the time of the incident.
