The organised labour union of Nigeria has disclosed that it’s not yet considering a strike action.
This comes after some leaders of the organised labour had staged a walkout few minutes into a meeting with representatives of the Federal Government on Sunday, November 22.
Recall that the meeting was convened in bid to resolve the issues of electricity tariff and hike in fuel price.

While addressing newsmen on Monday, November 2, Deputy President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Comrade Joe Ajaero, said that that the walk out was an expression of anger on government’s insincerity to the issues under contention.
He further added that the NLC cannot declare a strike without following due process and informing other members, while also stressing that the labour movement has not lost itsfocus in contrary to citizen’s reaction that it has.
