West Mam United are in talks with representatives of Jesse Lingard, in a bid to strike a deal for the England international.

The midfielder’s current contract officially expires on July 1, making him a free agent after Manchester United opted against renewal.

Lingard had earlier experienced success in a short loan at West ham in the 2020/21 season, where he bagged 9 goals in 16 premier league starts.

West ham manager, David Moyes rates Jesse Lingard highly and is determined to get a deal accomplished. There is an optimistic feeling for both parties as a deal could be struck on a free transfer.

However, there could be a bit of difficulty in the salary of Jesse Lingard as he will look to earn over £100,000 per week.

It is yet to be seen if West ham will be willing to complete the deal.
