Why Ameachi Boycotted Tinubu’s Inauguration

Rotimi Amaechi, a top-ranking member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), was not present at the inauguration of former Lagos State Governor, Bola Tinubu.

Tinubu’s inauguration as Nigeria’s 16th President took place on Monday at Eagle Square in Abuja.

However, it was surprising to many Nigerians that the former Minister of Transportation was not in attendance.

Amaechi’s absence at the inauguration has raised eyebrows, especially considering his previous role in Buhari’s administration as a two-term member.

According to reports, Amaechi did not attend any of Tinubu’s rallies during the six-month campaign period, despite being a member of the APC.
