Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci has addressed the concerns of Nigerians regarding the delay in her certification by Guinness World Records.
Hilda recently made headlines after cooking for over 100 hours in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for longest cooking hours held by Lata Tondon since 2019.
Despite completing the cooking marathon, Hilda was yet to be certified and awarded her certificate.

However, she clarified that the delay was due to the uploading of the evidence footage.
In a video, she displayed the footage being compiled to send to Guinness World Records.
Hilda explained that the 100 hours file was extremely large and they were trying to complete it in record time, within four days.
Recall that Nigerians have been calling on Guinness to expedite the process, but Hilda has urged patience while they complete the necessary steps.
She said:
“2 days in uploading evidence footage for Guinness world record approval. 100 hours file is extremely large. We are trying to do this in record time.
“We are honestly working round the clock trying to upload evidence on the Guinness portal. I also want to thank everyone for their love and support. I have cried so much cause it’s honestly overwhelming.”
