Nollywood actress and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Lagos State Deputy Governorship Candidate, Funke Akindele has informed the general public why she recently attended Celestial Church.
This came after a viral video showed her dancing in a Celestial Church and was accused of using the church as a campaign scheme.
The politician was dancing with members of the church until she was moved into a trance.

Addressing the congregation, she announced that she was born into the Celestial Church, but was a lost sheep who just returned home.
Akindele clarified that although she was not consistent in the church, she would always sneak in during hard times.
“I was born in Celestial Church but my case is like that of a lost sheep.
Whenever I have challenges, I run to Cele church but I always hide to attend.
But now I said enough is enough and it’s time for me to show myself and stop hiding,” Akindele said.
