A Nigerian woman has stirred mixed reactions, after revealing she doesn’t plan having kids.
According to the Germany-based Nigerian woman, identified as Olawande, she and her partner have been married for 3 months, and they’ve both agreed.

Sharing a video on her social media page, she said she like children, and even finds them adorable, but only when the person can return them.
She said the reviews she gets from women with kids saddled with financial burden, stress and sacrifice formed her opinion about kids.
As women, we sacrifice a lot fpor our marriage especially when we have kids. Lets be honest, people don’t just have kids because of the joy they bring but because they feel obligated to societal pressure and family expectations.

In many cultures, especially the religious ones, women are raised to believe that their life purpose is motherhood. It is not even a choice, it is what you do and I am not one to follow outdated societal expectation. This is the 21st century, women should be allowed to make their own decisions.”
