“Why I Married A Younger Lover” – Actress, Blessing Obasi

Nollywood actress and movie producer, Blessing Obasi has revealed why she’s comfortable marrying a younger lover, Stan Nze.

Obasi, whilst speaking to Vanguard Allure in an interview, admitted that age is just a number when it comes to relationships and marriage.

The scrip-interpreter, fondly called Ije Baby noted that marrying a colleague in the industry was never in her mind, but she’s lucky to have married a man younger than her.

She said, “Age is just a number, what matters is the two hearts that beat as one. I never saw marrying a colleague coming my way. Absolutely not. Never.

“I never would have imagined that I’d get married to my colleague or even anyone in entertainment because I used to think men in entertainment cannot stay with one woman, they are cheats. I saw them as promiscuous people and so I never saw it coming at all.”

When asked to mention three things, she would like to change about her husband, Ms. Nze said, “well, I’d say absolutely nothing. I’m happy with the peace that I enjoy with my husband and he is a man that daily strives to be better. I’m not aiming at changing anything, absolutely not.”
