Governor of Bauch state, Bala Mohammed, on Saturday explained to the people of the state that he sacked his cabinet during the week to bring the state out of the deadlock it was in.

The governor explained this while marking this year’s Democracy Day in Zaki, the headquarters of Zaki Local Government Area of the state.

Daiky Report Ng earlier reported that Governor Mohammed had on 9th June 2021 sacked the Secretary to the State Government, Chief of Staff, Government House, all commissioners as well as Special Advisers, except four aides.

Speaking in Zaki on Saturday, the governor said he dissolved the State Executive Council to allow others to serve and move the state forward.

He claimed those sacked did not know how to play politics, adding that he had to bring in real politicians who could do the job and join hands with him to bring the state out of the deadlock.

“Those that I stopped, they don’t know how to play politics and I cannot work with those types of people. I just have to get others, real politicians that can do the job together with me and bring Bauchi out from deadlock,” Governor Mohammed said.
