Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has explained why he wants former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to be the next Nigerian President.

Reno, who claimed that the former presidential candidate currently has about 50,000 employees, noted that Nigeria needs someone who is capable of creating job opportunities for the Nigerian youths.

In a video on his verified Facebook page, Reno explained that: “Earlier today, I called on Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to contest for the 2023 presidential election and to declare on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.

“I did that wholeheartedly and it is my belief and choice. I supported him in 2019 and I am supporting him now. I believe in what he is doing.

“Some persons have drawn my attention to the fact that Chile just elected a 35-year-old man as president. Nigeria is not Chile. We have peculiar challenges in Nigeria, one of them is unemployment. Insecurity is high in the country because we have high rate of unemployment.

“Atiku Abubakar currently employs 50,000 people and he is paying them above minimum wage. This is the man that has throughout his life shown that he knows how to create jobs and that is what the Nigerian Young people need.

“Don’t elect someone just because that person is young, Yahaya Bello is young but look at the disaster he is in Kogi State.

“President Muhammadu Buhari has almost destroyed the unity of this country we need a uniter, we need someone who can make us one”.
