Wife Arrested, For Cutting Husband’s Manhood In Ogun

Operatives of the Ogun state police command have arrested a woman, for allegedly assaulting her husband.

According to reports, the police arrested one, Ogunlana Yemisi, 28, for attacking her husband, Idowu Adebowale, 31, with a sharp object.

 

Confirming the incident and arrest, the spokesperson of the state police command, Omolola Odutola, in a statement released on Monday, October 21 said Adebowale has reported the issue, saying that his wife had attacked him with a sharp object around 4:30 am on October 15 during a minor disagreement.

He was said to have shown the police officers the deep cut on his genitalia which he alleged his wife inflicted on him.

Following this report, detectives promptly visited the scene, where the suspect was arrested.

The wife denied the allegations during questioning, but given the severity of the injury and the length of time the complainant had not sought medical help, he was provided with a medical form and advised to go to the hospital.

 

“The suspect is currently in custody, and the case will be forwarded to the SCID in Abeokuta for further investigation.

“This information will be given detailed investigation, as it is a suspect case of uncontrollable anger, leading to domestic violence.”
